Position Title:

Mental health Technician, Day shift & Mental Health Technician Mid shift.

Status:

Full Time

MHT Day Shift:

employees are scheduled to work a 12 hour shift and will have a rotating schedule (3 on, 4 on, 3 on, 4 on etc.. ) Availability for a weekend day required. Salary Range not including overtime is $20.50 - $21.75 per hour. Salary range is not limited to advertised range based on experience in the mental /behavioral health field and education related to the field.

MHT Mid Shift

: employees are scheduled to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Availability for a weekend day required. Salary range is $20.00 - 21.22 per hour. Salary range is not limited to advertised range based on experience in mental /behavioral health field and education related to the field.

All Employees will receive a consideration for a pay increase after 90 days of employment. Full time employees earn 2 weeks of paid vacation during their first year of employment and will earn 4 weeks of paid vacation after one year of employment.

Job Summary:

This is an entry level position; seeking individuals that would enjoy working directly with Adolescents between the ages of 12-18 in a residential treatment center to role model, teach and supervise adolescents in a structured environment. Comprehensive paid training 2 1/2 week training provided to prepare new employees for success in our collaborative environment.

Requirements

:

Must be currently in the state of AK -Local area, any out of state candidates will not be accepted. H.S. Diploma or Equivalent. 21 years of age. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must pass a thorough a federal background check conducted by the State of Alaska Background Check department. Must be able to fulfill the physical aspects of the position, including but not limited to the ability to physically restrain clients as needed and lifting up to 40lbs. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends. Must have basic computer and typing skills.
