The Community Library Network at Harrison has a 16-hour Youth Programming Specialist position open. Work hours will include shifts on Tuesday - Saturday.
The Youth Programming Specialist position will work independently and collaboratively to plan and deliver activities and programming for children, tweens, and teens under the direction of the Youth Programming Manager. The position will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs for youth in support of department and library goals and community needs.
The successful applicant has:
High school diploma or GED equivalency; Associate's Degree or higher preferred
Two years' work experience in a customer service setting
Two years' work experience in a public library setting
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and lead
