Starting wage is $23 an hour + a $500 sign-on bonus Families First is beginning an exciting new program for youth (mostly teenagers) with disabilities that are in DCF custody. We will welcome children and adolescents that have been in residential programs back into the community by providing a safe and nurturing place to live for 6-9 months. Using unconditional positive regard and a trauma-informed relationship-based approach, we will work as a team to find a long-term, secure foster care home. We will continue to support the youth during and after the transition home as our goal is to prevent multiple foster home placements. A thorough clinical assessment will take place during their stay, but an essential aspect of the program is cultivating connection, attachment, and the ability to have fun. We are seeking experienced staff who are passionate about making the world a better place for marginalized youth. Proven record of being a team player and having a sense of humor are necessary! Health Insurance includes a $2,500 yearly HRA account. Families First contributes/matches 3% to a retirement account and provides life and short-term disability insurance. We currently have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7am-7pm and Saturday 7pm-7am open. *Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to pass a background check.* Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour Benefits:
