The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience working with children (ages 4-12), and a passion for fostering positive development through sports.

i9 Sports 435 is a locally owned business doing business in Fort Mill, Marvin, and Gastonia, and the surrounding areas. We are fast-paced, fun, rewarding and our goal is to provide an excellent youth sports experience for children and their families..

Youth Basketball Coordinator

Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Basketball Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports experience for players, coaches and parents. The Basketball Coordinator will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levels.

Duties

Set up and break down courts and general venue accommodations Provide coaching and instruction in youth basketball. Foster a positive learning environment by utilizing effective coaching techniques. Collaborate with staff and coaches to ensure the successful implementation of the i9 Sports experience Monitor player progress and provide feedback to enhance their skills and development.

Qualifications

Must enjoy and have experience working with kids ages 4-12 in a recreational setting. Must be fun, playful, energetic, and enthusiastic with superior customer service skills. Must be vocal, outgoing, and possess excellent communication skills Must be confident and capable of interacting with parents and be able to take charge of any situation that involves the safety of players Must have a strong background in physical education or related fields, with skills in basketball or general sports coaching. FRIDAYS

during the entire season (6 weeks, Start time from 8am), up to 5 Seasons / Year. Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver license. Must pass a background check.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 - 8.0 per week
