Job Description

Yoder Meats is currently seeking full and part time team members for the meat processing plant in Yoder, Kansas. We have positions available in meat fabrication and harvest.

The plant operates Monday through Friday first shift. We have a small, family-friendly work environment. We are focused on producing a safe, high-quality product for our customers. The plant does custom processing work as well as processing for Yoder Meats retail locations in Yoder, Wichita, and Lawrence and wholesale accounts.

Previous experience in meat processing is beneficial but we are happy to train the right candidate from scratch. Candidates should be comfortable in a production environment with operating equipment, some temperature extremes, and handling fresh meat. Candidates should also be able to lift 50 pounds. Yoder Meats offers paid vacation, paid holidays, sick leave, retirement matching and Aflac insurance. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. New hires with experience will start at up to $13 per hour and be advanced upon demonstration of skill within 90 days. New hires without experience will start at $12 and be advanced upon demonstration of aptitude within 90 days.
