Responsibilities

Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using established safety protocols Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical testing, and adjusting water chemistry to maintain optimal water quality Provide friendly guest services by assisting patrons with questions, directions, or concerns related to pool facilities Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas to identify maintenance needs or hazards Respond effectively to emergency situations including administering first aid or CPR when necessary Assist with pool setup, cleaning, and maintenance duties such as heavy lifting and pool cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards

Skills

Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and First Aid certifications Proven swimming ability with experience in lifeguarding roles preferred Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical testing and water chemistry management Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to stay alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety surveillance Physical strength for heavy lifting, pool cleaning, and maintenance tasks Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and respond confidently during emergencies
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
