Overview:

Looking for a Yard Operator, who is responsible for supporting the yard facility with the retrieval of materials to the yard and maintenance of inventory. This is a contract 1099 position. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and have reliable transportation. The role requires an understanding of construction and facility issues to help contractors who are checking out material or in need of material. The role includes conducting preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, organizing and maintaining the yard, and ensuring safe access and egress of the yard. The role focuses on the organization, maintenance, and accessibility of materials and equipment within the yard.

Experience:

3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in Yard Management, Pipeline Construction, Facility Maintenance, and Construction Codes and Standards or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.

Job Duties:

Assists Workover consultants on day to day needs for tubing and downhole equipment and scans, identifies, sorts, and catalogs NORM impacted material. Works under general supervision to assist in complex oversight tasks, including developing and implementing SOPs, prioritizing projects, and making recommendations for optimization. Maintains inventory and usable material in the yard for future projects and conducts general preventative maintenance of owned and leased tools and equipment. Develops and maintains a plan for organization and maintenance of the yard, including storage tents, pipe racks dumpsters, and other miscellaneous material. Recognizes, analyzes, and resolves complex problems, taking corrective action in emergency and non-emergency situations, contributing to operational efficiency and safety. Ensures safe access and egress of yard i.e., plowing snow/maintaining a level surface in driving lanes.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM
