We are seeking a skilled Yard Maintenance Technician to join our team at an Industrial facility. This role involves maintaining outdoor and indoor yard areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and industrial maintenance experience. The Yard Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in supporting our operations through preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment troubleshooting to uphold safety standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

This position involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a busy industrial yard which involves maintaining and testing all equipment in work area.

Candidate needs to know how to safely and properly operate forklifts and electric, gasoline & AOD pumps, in addition to maintaining such equipment.

Familiarity with hydro equipment is a plus as job includes inspecting, testing and repairing air/water pipes, hoses, boxes, and fittings. Position also includes daily checking and maintaining water levels in 3 water storage tanks. Additional duties involve completing fuel consumption reports, and assisting Project Support, Project Prep, and Box Fleet crews when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
