How You'll Make an Impact

Complete pre-inspection (and post-inspection where required) of equipment such as fork truck and yard tractor to ensure safe operating condition Proper operation of forklift and yard tractor; safely using horns, backup alarms and safety strobe lights Use yard tractor to move trailers from dock-to-dock as needed Move component trailers to production lines Move empty trailers to dock C & A,B for loading (communicate status) Load/unload shuttle trailers Stage loaded trailers for transfer as required Stage empty supplier trailers appropriately for pick-up Communicate with production lines, warehouse, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are staged in appropriate dock doors or locations Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP Load Recycling Trailers Checking in third-party drivers Packaging, preparing, and shipping daily common carrier shipments Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment. Operate equipment safely May also be asked to assist with other plant duties outside of the scope of the daily job responsibilities

What You'll Need

Must have Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements Communicate with warehouses, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are taken to the correct locations. Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP.
