We are looking for a skilled X-ray/Radiology Technician to join our medical team at the East Arkansas Family Health Center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in X-ray technology and possess a deep understanding of anatomy. As an X-ray/Radiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services to support patient care.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging on patients as prescribed by physicians
Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of specific body parts
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures
Assist in emergency medicine situations requiring immediate X-ray imaging
Utilize knowledge of diagnostic radiology techniques for precise imaging results
Responsible for sending exams for over reads and ensuring a timely return of exam results.
Perform EKGs as requested
Requirements
Certification or degree in Radiologic Technology
Proficiency in X-ray technology and equipment operation
Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Able to obtain licensure in the state of Arkansas
Travel to various work sites may be required
