General Statement of Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Writing Center Consultants in Training work and learn from seasoned consultants on every stage of the writing process.
  • Provide support at all levels of writing competency, including, but not limited to, topic organization, outlining, and style.
  • Help the Director and others with administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Participate in professional development activities (self-evaluation, peer evaluation, professional development readings, etc.) and specialize in a writing sub-field.
  • Complete independent tasks and projects during shifts without clients that contribute to the growth, development, and betterment of the Writing Center.
Requirements:
  • Students must take EN-410 class

Hourly Rate: $15.00
