Job Title: Writer for a criminal defense firm

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Attorney/Writer to join our team. We are looking for someone who has experience in writing criminal law motions like motions to quash, motion to suppress, frank, etc., for both in state and at the federal cases.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and legal citation skills along with the following:

Thorough grasp of grammatical and style conventions Close attention to detail Logical reasoning skills Persuasive abilities
Day-to-Day Activities:

Drafting briefs and memos. Presenting written arguments in support of a client. Applying legal reasoning and analysis to a fact pattern. Some court appearances Researching and incorporating relevant legal precedents Conduct thorough research on the topics to develop insightful and compelling content Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct content Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency Fact-check information to maintain credibility and accuracy Adhere to legal guidelines for writing and editing Collaborate with team members Excellent communication and organizational skills
