Education and Experience Requirements:



Master's Degree or bachelor's degree in the social services field. With a master's degree a minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience, or with a bachelor's degree a minimum of four (4) years post-graduate experience, working in individual, family and children's behavioral health services and experience working with abused, neglected and traumatized children, adults and/or families. Certified Facilitator in Training or current on track to become a Certified Facilitator in Training. Eligible to become Certified Coach or in the CIT program currently Supervisory/management experience preferred.

What will I do as Wraparound Supervisor?



1. Wraparound Team Supervisor Responsibilities

a. Participate with Clinical Director of Wraparound in the hiring and training of service providers including Wraparound Facilitators. b. Ensure that facilitators have no more than 10 clients on their caseload. c. Ensure that facilitators enter all their wraparound efforts on behalf of their clients in progress notes or other forms in EMR-Bear. d. Be the back-up support for clients when facilitators are on sick leave, FMLA, or other long absences. e. Help engage new clients prior to clinical intakes. f. Support the facilitators in the completion of CNA's and other care coordination tasks, if required. g. Perform TOMs as necessary for staff. h. Complete CIT training and pass exam and maintain coaching certification. i. Complete training and certification required for administration of tools required through grants, regulations, and agency procedure. j. Serve as the Wraparound Coach for new facilitator staff development. k. Be the advocate for staff who are struggling with relationships with CYFD, RTCs, hospitals, Juvenile Justice or other outside agencies. l. Assist in the collaboration and training of outside referral sources on High Fidelity Wraparound. m. Supervisor will provide at least weekly one-hour individual supervisions for each staff, weekly one-hour small team meetings and semi-monthly a two-hour department team meeting. The purpose of individual weekly supervision are as follows.

i.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISION

-The major goal of administrative supervision is to ensure the staff is oriented towards the agency's policies and procedures and their work is performed in accordance with them.

ii.

Supervisor, at a minimum monthly, will address in individual supervision meetings the caseload, performance, timeliness of documentation, diagnostics, service planning and wrap team meetings.

iii.

Supervisor, on a monthly basis, will also address caseload documentation reviews during individual weekly supervision time. For staff, who are demonstrating an inability to complete these documents in a timely manner, more frequent reviews up to and including weekly reviews may have to be implemented. If items are identified for correction, a "to do list" will be created. Supervisor will email the "to do list" each week and send follow-up emails on progress or lack of progress.

iv. CLINICAL SUPERVISION

. This supervision establishes a learning alliance between the supervisor and supervisee in which the supervisee learns therapeutic engagement skills while developing self-awareness at the same time. Clinical supervision involves teaching the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for successful client outcomes by analyzing the staff's interaction with the client/family. The supervisor teaches the staff skills/interventions needed to provide specific services to specific clients.

During weekly individual supervision, supervisor will review with the staff their client's participation in Wraparound and assess client/family progress. In turn, together they assess which specific treatment modalities and natural supports are beneficial or if alternative modalities would be more beneficial to the client/family progress.

vi.

Supervisor will observe, at least once a year (ideally twice a year), via live supervision, the staff's interactions with their clients. The supervisor will then provide specific feedback about the staff's engagement, assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills.
vii. Supervisor will discuss professional development within the constraints of the staff's other responsibilities.

viii.

Supervisor will discuss utilizing effective time and workload management.

ix. SUPPORTIVE SUPERVISION

- Supportive supervision is within the context of this agency Organizational Resiliency program. The supervisor attends to the staff's motivation and develops a work environment that enhances work performance and growth through a variety of tasks identified mutually by the staff and supervisor.

Supervisor completes Annual Individual Performance Review to support each staff member's growth.

n. Clinical supervision should not be limited to any of the previously identified times. If staff have questions or issues during the week, supervisor should be available by phone, face to face or via e-mail for consultations as they arise. o. Supervisor will be available to provide parents/care givers the opportunity to review their child's chart and to answer any questions the parents may have regarding the care their child receives. p. Supervisor will be available to address any concerns the parents/care givers have regarding their child's care if this issue has not satisfactory been resolved directly with staff. q. Supervisor will be the liaison for subpoenas of their staff to clarify the courts need for the staff, determine fee for testifying in advance and to coordinate the staff absence from the agency and their inability to perform direct service care. r. Coordinate, develop, and provide with other agency clinical supervisors programs and trainings that will occur during the Bimonthly Large Clinical Team Meeting when intra agency direct service providers meet. s. Supervise, assist with and coordinate, clinical documentation, client file management, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects, such as client outcome tracking, client and staff satisfaction surveys and other methods of program evaluation. t. Supervise and coordinate the use and preparation of client/family treatment summaries and recommendations to community partners, such as the Children, Youth and Families Department, the criminal justice and court clinic systems. u. Supervise and facilitate treatment team meetings with clients and other community agencies to prevent duplication of services and assure a unified treatment approach with families. v. Attend treatment team meetings with other agencies, when required. w. Appear in court and other venues to represent All Faiths, when mandated. x. Supervise and coordinate other services and activities as assigned by the Clinical Director of Wraparound. y. Supervisor will obtain Coach in Training certification (CIT) and will fullfill necessary requirements to obtain CIT certification.
2. Program Development and Maintenance Responsibilities

a. Participate in Wraparound program design, implementation, and expansion to develop a best practices model and standards of service delivery in future service delivery areas. b. Supervise and support coordination the team of Wraparound Facilitators and other providers in developing and maintaining a mobile crisis after-hours response that provides twenty-four (24) hour-a-day coverage for all wraparound clients throughout the agency concerning mental health and emotional support assistance to clients and staff with emergent and/or acute need. c. Participate in training and provide oversight to all Wraparound staff regarding crisis intervention skills including assessment, safety planning activities and other emergency response considerations. d. Participate in training and provide oversight to Wraparound staff regarding the assessment and referral process for clients when more intensive services are required to meet their needs. e. Maintain positive relationships with other community agencies for additional support services. f. Attendance and participation in SOC III (Valencia County) grant related meetings to include governance meetings and data sharing meetings. g. Complete CANS, NOMS and Flex Fund trainings. Oversee facilitator completion and implementation of CANS, NOMS and flex fund requests as required. h. Participate in the Wraparound On Call Supervisor Rotation to provide support to staff on the Wraparound crisis on call. i. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
3. Program Quality:

a. In collaboration with the Wraparound Program Supervisor and the CQI Department, Team Supervisor will assist in developing and implementing quality review metrics for all aspects of High-Fidelity Wraparound. b. The metrics, designed in collaboration with the Wraparound Team supervisors and Clinical Director, to include at a minimum the following:
i. Past due documentation

ii. Client contract tracking

iii. Timeliness of documentation and assessments

iv. Quality of documentation

v. Monitor timeliness of data entry of progress notes of all direct service providers in the Wraparound program.

vi. Report and track the time between referral to intake to engagement to discharge.

vii. Monitor client outcomes and placements.

viii. Provide quality improvement data to Wrap Team Supervisors that will help them in the supervision and development of the staff on their teams.

ix. Responsible for monitoring the FIT process and providing Wrap Team Supervisors with timely information that will lead to successful and timely FIT certification.

x. Monitor when TOMs are due and perform TOMs as necessary for staff.
