Typical Work hours: 8am - 4:30pm, weekends may be required based on facility needs.
RN Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities
wound dressing changes communicating with the wound doctor updating resident wound orders establishing a restorative nursing program to include walk-to-dine, ROM, splints, etc. Assess, treat, and monitor wounds for residents according to best practices. Develop and implement individualized wound care plans. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate staff on wound care protocols and prevention strategies.
RN Wound Care Nurse Qualifications
Experience in wound care management in a healthcare setting
Must have a valid
RN license
in Georgia.Must pass a Level II background screening.
