Internal Hires:
Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable personnel rules or union contract terms.
External Hires:
This position starts at $51.04 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
Job Summary:
The Workforce Program Coordinator designs, leads, and evaluates clinical, non-clinical, and community wellness programs that support organizational goals and meet regulatory requirements. This includes managing CNA and nursing programs, internships, job shadows, and K-12 pipeline efforts. The role involves cross- departmental collaboration, curriculum development, and hands-on training to ensure program quality and compliance. The coordinator also oversees student onboarding, program evaluation, and long-term workforce planning.
Minimum Qualifications for the job:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
+ Preferred Education:
Master of Science in Nursing
Experience:
Five (5) years' direct care nursing experience
+ Preferred Experience:Previous adult teaching or education experience
License(s):
Current State of Alaska RN License
Certification(s):
BLS Instructor
