The Manager of Workforce Architecture supports the development and execution of strategic workforce initiatives that enable organizational clarity, scalability, and readiness for a skills-based future. This role blends project management discipline with analytical expertise in job architecture, helping to drive consistency and alignment across HR, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Technology teams. The manager will play a key role in operationalizing frameworks, coordinating cross-functional efforts, creating resources and literacy among peer teams and ensuring data integrity within systems like Workday.
Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for workforce architecture initiatives.
• Coordinate efforts across job architecture, career pathing, and skills mapping workstreams.
• Partner with analysts to audit and maintain job profiles, leveling frameworks, and taxonomy.
• Support system configuration efforts in Workday to align position and job data with organizational needs.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement across HR, TA, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Monitor data quality and support reporting needs tied to workforce planning and talent analytics.
• Contribute to change management, training, and communication efforts to drive adoption.
• Ensure governance and documentation of position management processes and standards.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR, talent, talent operations, or organizational design.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with job architecture principles and workforce planning.
• Experience with Workday or similar HCM systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study.
• Experience working within a large, matrixed organization, ideally in professional services.
• Exposure to skills-based workforce models or talent analytics.
• Demonstrated technical fluency and a strong interest in emerging technologies--particularly AI and automation--with the ability to design, implement, or train others on their application in workforce or talent contexts.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or HR (e.g., SHRM-CP).

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $102,800 - $176,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
