The Workday Illuminate Lead leads the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions with a strong focus on AI-driven innovation, intelligent automation, and cross-functional enablement. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader, driving the adoption of Workday's emerging capabilities--including Extend, Studio, and Illuminate--to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions aligned with enterprise goals.

Proven leadership in Workday Extend, Studio, EIBs, and custom integration development, including mentoring junior analysts or developers. Strategic understanding of Workday's AI roadmap, intelligent agents, and automation capabilities, with the ability to translate emerging features into business value. Hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts, agent builders, and low-code/no-code platforms, with a focus on scalable automation and intelligent workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement. Demonstrated curiosity and thought leadership in emerging technologies, with the ability to influence digital transformation initiatives. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across HR, IT, and business functions to drive strategic outcomes. Comfortable leading teams in agile or iterative development environments, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus. 5+ years of progressive Workday experience, with deep expertise in configuration, support, and solution design across multiple modules.
