Job Description

Position Overview



Under general supervision responsible for ensuring efficient utilization and accountability for space and facilities based on needs, space limitations, and cost considerations for the DUF6 Project in accordance with all applicable codes, rules, regulations, laws, and organizational procedures. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Functional:


Ensures day-to-day scheduled and emergent maintenance activities are coordinated to optimize maintenance utility and minimize maintenance supervisor's time spent on work preparation Plans, organizes, schedules, and directs the daily performance of contract requirements for the maintenance subcontractor activities Tracks, informs, and communicates weekly performance, accomplishments, milestones, and essential information to appropriate management/clients on scheduled/recurring basis Ensures prerequisites to performing work as scheduled are planning for in advance, including parts/material, lockout/tagout (LOTO), support groups, etc. Ensures plan and parts/materials are received, evaluated, and staged Begins work coordination for activities that remain within the two-week window Tracks and monitors activities in the current work week, and acts promptly to address work delays Conducts routine work week reviews and publishes final report Ensures maintenance functions are safely coordinated so that maximum availability and throughput are achieved Monitors plant performance through review of plant metrics, and makes recommendations for enhancement of plant performance Participates in plant meetings to communicate maintenance coordination needs, and helps resolve work delays Interfaces closely with Operations Manager to ensure coordination of maintenance and operations activities Coordinates and schedules subcontract work

Possesses strong organizational skills that reflect ability to adapt to various competing demands, successful implementation of time-management, and demonstration at the highest level of customer/client service and response Administers intermediate level written and verbal communication skills Possesses intermediate PC skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat Demonstrates the ability to apply organizational practices, policies and procedures in directing a wide variety of related compliance and administrative tasks Maintains the judgment and discretion to properly discern and safeguard highly-sensitive information and documents, including company-proprietary information, and classified or otherwise sensitive national security information



Minimum Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required 1+ years of nuclear experience * Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) credential.
