The Student Life Administrative Assistant/Intern will help the staff in the Office of Student Life perform research, clerical office
tasks, office organization, and the planning and coordination of college-wide meetings and events in support of student success
objectives. Academic division leaders will rely on the Student Assistant to provide a student perspective in planning and communication
work, as well as compiling information and other relevant materials in advance of events and meetings. Completing assigned
tasks will entail using the internet to identify relevant research or other resources on institutional initiatives that are
planned or active at the College. The Student Assistant will receive professional development in the areas of project management,
office communication skills to executive level administrators as well as external audiences, event planning and coordination, and
teamwork.
