Job Overview:

We're looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and hard-working person to join our woodshop team at Bloom Owl, where we create beautiful, handmade wooden products for children and families.

This position focuses almost entirely on

sanding

-- preparing wooden parts for puzzles, piggy banks, step stools, and other custom products. You'll work independently most of the time, getting into the zone with your headphones while helping bring our designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanding:

Sand wooden parts to a smooth finish using sanders and by hand. This job involves a lotof sanding.

Quality Checks:

Inspect pieces for defects or rough spots before passing them along for finishing.

Work Area Maintenance:

Keep your workspace organized, safe, and clean- teamwork helps keep everything on track!

Additional Information:

This position is physically demanding and requires standing for long periods. The full time schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime during peak seasons. We also offer part-time and seasonal positions. Please indicate which you are applying for.
