Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Wood framing Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of wood framing, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. The Project Manager will play a critical role in delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, contributing to the successful growth of our construction operations.

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing residential framing projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to company standards and client specifications. The Project Manager serves as the key liaison between clients, field teams, and company leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Develop project schedules, work plans, and budgets in collaboration with estimating and field teams.

Coordinate resources, materials, and equipment to ensure timely project delivery.

Review blueprints, scope documents, and specifications to ensure full understanding before project start.

Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation accurately and efficiently.

Oversee project progress and make adjustments as needed to maintain timelines and budgets.

Leadership & Team Coordination

Provide direction, support, and mentorship to field supervisors, framers, and apprentices.

Ensure clear communication between office and field teams.

Foster a positive, safety-focused, and performance-driven team culture.

Conduct regular site visits to ensure work meets company standards and project specifications.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as the main point of contact for clients during project execution.

Provide progress updates, issue resolution, and client satisfaction follow-ups.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and trade partners.

Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Financial Oversight

Monitor project budgets and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Approve invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments.

Track project costs and proactively identify variances.

Support company leadership with forecasting, profitability analysis, and cost reporting.

Quality Control & Compliance

Ensure all work meets company and client quality standards.

Conduct regular inspections and coordinate punch list completion.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and permitting requirements.

Maintain accurate project documentation and closeout materials.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in residential or commercial framing project management.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and budgeting.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office, and/or construction management platforms.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
