Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively sell items. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and encourage purchases. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is well-presented. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and improve overall sales performance. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions. Basic math skills for accurate cash register operation and inventory management. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike. Experience in grocery store settings is advantageous but not mandatory. A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
