Who You Are:
You are an early-career Wireless Project Manager with experience supporting mobile or wireless initiatives involving multiple teams. You are strong at organizing work, tracking project tasks, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables stay on schedule. You understand the basics of wireless networks--enough to collaborate with engineering, network operations, and IT mobile teams--without needing to be deeply technical. Most importantly, you are a detail-oriented communicator who can transform business needs into project plans, timelines, and status reports.
As a Consultant, you'll contribute to client engagements by delivering insights, building deliverables, and leading workstreams. You'll be expected to bring strong analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset to solve client problems and drive transformation.
Role and Responsibilities:
You may work on various wireless projects throughout your career with Excelacom. Responsibilities for this role include:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking wireless or mobile-related project activities
Support delivery of project milestones aligned with technical and business goals
Gather requirements and assist in developing documentation such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
Coordinate dependencies and activities between network, IT, engineering, device, and operations teams
Monitor schedules, risks, and issues and escalate as needed
Prepare status reports, dashboards, and project updates for leadership and stakeholders
Participate in testing, integration, and deployment activities by coordinating cross-team efforts
Conduct basic analysis of project data, risks, and KPIs to support decision-making
Help ensure smooth communication between internal teams, clients, vendors, and leadership
Support the creation of presentations, deliverables, and implementation plans
Assist with proposals, research, and business development tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or business-related field
2+ years of experience supporting wireless, mobile, telecom, or technology projects
Basic understanding of mobile network components (e.g., Core, RAN, devices, OSS/BSS)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder coordination
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Experience creating or managing project documentation (timelines, requirements, risks, status reports)
Familiarity with agile concepts and collaboration tools such as JIRA or Confluence
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple ongoing tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior consulting experience, or experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable
Exposure to wireless technologies such as 4G/5G, VoLTE, EPC, IMS, or RAN
Experience working with vendors or cross-functional delivery teams
Strong organization, time management, and collaboration skills
