About the Role

Peco Foods, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Winter Intern

to join our corporate office located in Tuscaloosa, AL. This role is ideal for a student eager to develop analytical skills, work with real datasets, and contribute to meaningful business insights. You'll gain hands-on experience in data cleaning, reporting, visualization, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources. Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel and Power BI. Support the team with ad-hoc data requests and ongoing analytical projects. Document methodologies, maintain data integrity, and ensure accuracy in all outputs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of data analysis concepts, including descriptive statistics and data visualization. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other data analysis tools. Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving. Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely.
