Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as strong time management skills to efficiently handle high-volume service periods.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and adherence to food safety regulations. Process transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for patrons at the bar or during special events such as banquets or catering functions. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked. Uphold high standards of hospitality in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism at all times.

Experience

Previous bartending experience in a fine dining setting is preferred. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly. Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Experience with cash handling and retail math is advantageous. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail crafting is a plus.
