We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. Responsibilities
Measure openings accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper fitment of windows and doors
Install a variety of window and door types, including frames, trims, and fixtures, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete installations efficiently
Perform heavy lifting of window units, doors, and related materials safely using proper techniques and equipment
Seal gaps with caulking to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency of installations
Hang doors securely on metal or wood frames, ensuring proper alignment and operation
Conduct remodeling tasks such as trim carpentry, cabinet installation, metal stud framing, and fixture setup as needed
Read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to understand project specifications precisely
Apply mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting installation issues or adjusting hardware like locks or hinges
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety standards throughout each project
Experience
Proven experience in glass installation, door hanging, or window replacement within construction or remodeling settings
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery effectively
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems relevant to window/door installation
Background in carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing or general construction is highly desirable
Familiarity with locksmithing principles for hardware installation or adjustments is a plus
Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols is essential
Electrical experience related to fixture installation or electrical wiring is advantageous but not mandatory
