Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Tinter to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality window tinting films to vehicles, enhancing both their appearance and privacy while ensuring optimal heat rejection and UV protection. Your expertise will contribute to delivering a superior customer experience by providing professional, precise, and efficient tinting services. Duties

Prepare vehicles for tinting by cleaning windows thoroughly and inspecting for any existing damage or defects Measure and cut tinting film accurately to fit various vehicle windows and ensure seamless application Apply window tint film using specialized tools, ensuring bubble-free, smooth finishes with attention to detail Use hand tools and power tools safely during the installation process, including squeegees, heat guns, and trimming equipment Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of excess film and cleaning of tools after each job Conduct quality checks on completed tint jobs to ensure durability, appearance, and customer satisfaction Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as minor auto body repairs or glass installations as needed to support overall shop operations

Skills

Proven experience in window tinting with a strong understanding of film types, application techniques, and best practices Dealership experience or automotive service background preferred for familiarity with vehicle systems and customer expectations Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure proper installation without interfering with sensors or cameras Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools for precise work Familiarity with auto glass installation, auto body repair, and vehicle assembly processes is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely during material handling or vehicle servicing tasks Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Basic auto estimating skills are advantageous for assessing costs related to tinting projects or additional repairs

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
