Job Title: Windows Technician

Job Summary:

As a Window Foreman in windows at Black Hills Exteriors, you will be responsible for the precise installation, finishing, and maintenance of windows in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure that all window-related projects meet our high standards for quality, durability, and visual appeal. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, installers, and clients to complete projects efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Window Installation:

Install and finish a variety of window types, including casement, double-hung, sliding, and custom windows, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and sealing.

Trim Work:

Install and finish window trim, including sills, casings, and moldings, with attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Measurement and Preparation:

Accurately measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific window designs and project requirements.

Inspections and Adjustments:

Inspect installed windows for proper function and finish, making adjustments or repairs as needed to ensure quality.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with project managers, window installers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration and completion of projects.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes related to window installations and finishes.

Customer Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the completed work.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Will provide on the job training.

Skills:

Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and sanders. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.

License/Certification:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Relevant certifications or licenses related to window installations are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
