Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window AC Installer to join our air conditioning team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing window AC units. This role involves working on residential, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should possess a solid background in finish carpentry.

Duties

Install window air conditioning units in various residential settings, ensuring proper fit and secure mounting. Measure spaces accurately and modify units or framing as needed for optimal installation. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to prepare openings, trim, and secure units. Perform caulking, sealing, and trim carpentry to ensure energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal. Conduct heavy lifting of AC units and related materials safely throughout the project site. Maintain a clean work environment, follow safety protocols, and ensure all installations meet code requirements.

Skills

Proven experience with window AC installation. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws). Strong background in framing carpentry, drywall finishing, and construction painting. Knowledge of metal stud framing, heavy lifting techniques, caulking applications, trim carpentry, and maintenance person skills. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety procedures. Ability to follow detailed instructions for complex installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in HVAC installation projects.
