Alternate work schedule

The information desk is open Monday-Friday 8 am -7pm, Saturday 10am -2:00pm closed Sundays. Hours may change during breaks and holidays. Employees are expected to attend one training a month with all Union staff. Dates and times will be provided in advance. Staff will be provided with a uniform and name badge to be worn while on shift. Shifts will be based on availability.

Job Summary/Basic Function

Employees will be required to be the front line representative for basic campus questions, student IDs, and bus passes. Employees will also answer the phone and keep inventory of lost and found items for Ogden Campus.

Physical Requirements of this position

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or consistently to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing only occasionally if ever.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision.

Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.

The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position.

The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. , The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
