We're growing rapidly and seeking a standout individual to join our wholesale team, someone who is experienced and excels in sales, organization, people management, process development, and building strong relationships.
This role is a pivotal opportunity to fuel Nani's next stage of wholesale expansion. The Wholesale Growth & Experience Manager leads all new-business development by identifying, pitching, and closing high-value retail partners, while also building and managing a high-performing outside sales rep network. This includes ensuring every rep is aligned, trained, motivated, and delivering results. You will partner closely with the Wholesale Account Manager and Operations team to coordinate smooth onboarding, communication, and logistics for all new accounts.
As the Wholesale Growth & Experience Manager, you play a critical role in shaping the future of Nani's wholesale channel and expanding our retail presence nationwide.
What You'll Do
New Business Development (Hunter Duties)
Identify and research high-potential retail partners that match Nani's brand and audience.
Create strategic outreach plans for priority territories and key account targets.
Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, trade shows, and in-person visits.
Present the Nani brand story, line sheets, pricing, and product offering with confidence and clarity.
Conduct needs assessments and recommend the right mix of products for new retailers.
Lead all stages of the sales cycle from outreach to closing.
Manage pipelines, follow-ups, and reporting using CRM and company systems.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new-account goals.
Outside Sales Rep Management
Recruit, onboard, and train outside sales reps in assigned territories.
Provide reps with updated line sheets, product knowledge, key talking points, and order tools.
Set performance expectations and quarterly sales targets for each rep.
Host regular check-ins to review territory performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Analyze rep orders, sell-through, and territory gaps to ensure top performance.
Coach and support reps on selling strategies, product positioning, and retailer objections.
Ensure brand consistency and professionalism across all rep interactions.
Hold reps accountable for timely communication, order submissions, and retailer follow-up.
Provide leadership during trade shows, regional events, and product launches.
Act as main point of contact between Nani's wholesale leadership and the rep network.
Key Internal Collaboration
Partner closely with the Wholesale Manager and Operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts.
Communicate retailer feedback to product and merchandising teams.
Coordinate samples, catalogs, and marketing materials for reps and prospective accounts.
Collaborate on forecasting and territory expansion planning.
Success in This Role Looks Like
New accounts added consistently, with strong first-season order volume.
Outside sales reps are trained, engaged, and hitting or surpassing their targets.
Nani's retail presence expands into strategically selected markets.
Retailer satisfaction and reorders increase due to strong account fit and relationship management.

What To Bring to the Team
Experience & Expertise
2 to 6 years in wholesale sales, account management, business development, or sales operations
Experience with lifestyle, outdoor, activewear, or swim brands is a plus
Confident working with CRM tools and systems
Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
Proven ability to pitch, present, and manage structured sales outreach
Skills & Strengths
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends
Tech-savvy with spreadsheets, CRMs, and operational systems
Comfortable using Canva for creating cohesive, on-brand sales assets and visual updates
