Position Overview:
As a
White Glove Delivery Driver & Furniture Installer
, you will be the face of our company during every delivery. You will safely transport luxury furniture and home goods, ensure flawless installation and placement, and uphold the highest standards of customer service and care. This is not a standard delivery job -- it's a role for those who take pride in precision, presentation, and problem-solving on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport high-end furniture to client locations
Load, unload, and move items with extreme care and attention to detail
Perform assembly and installation of furniture and fixtures in clients' homes and offices
Review floorplans or designer instructions to place and install items accurately
Conduct thorough inspections before and after delivery to ensure damage-free service
Protect clients' homes during delivery (e.g., floor protection, padding doorways)
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times
Communicate clearly with dispatch, clients, and team members
Document deliveries, client sign-offs, and any issues encountered during installation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in white glove delivery, moving, or furniture installation
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (commercial license a plus)
Strong understanding of high-end furniture handling and placement techniques
Proficiency with hand and power tools for basic assembly and installation
Ability to lift and carry 75+ lbs and navigate stairs and tight spaces with care
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Professional appearance and a calm, solutions-focused attitude
Experience working with interior designers, luxury retailers, or high-net-worth clients is a plus
