The Opportunity
The
Whiskey & Beverage Program Manager
will oversee all aspects of Whiskey Yard's beverage operations -- from developing innovative cocktails and curating whiskey flights to training and mentoring the bar team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a creative and knowledgeable professional who can balance operational precision with hospitality excellence.
You'll be responsible for managing one of the most dynamic whiskey collections in the region while leading a team that delivers exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the bar and beverage program, including whiskey, cocktail, wine, and beer offerings.
Curate and manage a 200+ bottle whiskey and bourbon collection, maintaining organization, rotation, and presentation.
Design whiskey flights, tasting menus, and educational experiences for guests and staff.
Develop and execute creative, globally inspired cocktail lists that align with the brand's culinary vision.
Oversee bar operations including inventory, purchasing, and cost management.
Train and mentor bar staff in whiskey knowledge, mixology technique, and hospitality standards.
Ensure all bar operations uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Build and maintain strong vendor and distributor relationships to source unique products and limited releases.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and leadership team to pair beverage offerings with the global bistro menu.
What We're Looking For
Extensive whiskey and bourbon knowledge
-- regions, profiles, brands, and distillation processes.
3-5 years of bar or beverage management experience
in a high-volume, chef-driven, or upscale casual concept.
Proven leadership and communication skills with a passion for team development.
Ability to create beverage programs that balance creativity, quality, and profitability.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, including cost control and inventory management.
Warm, guest-focused approach -- authentic hospitality that goes beyond service.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
