Job Overview


We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Wellness Director to lead and oversee the wellness programs within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in memory care ,assisted living, home health, hospice care, and acute care settings. This leadership role requires a strong background in nursing management, supervision, and case management, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient-centered care. The Wellness Director will be responsible for developing care plans, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare, and maintaining accurate medical records. Duties



Lead and coordinate all aspects of resident care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services aligned with individual care plans. Supervise nursing staff, including nurse management and shift management, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Scheduling staff Oversee documentation review, medical records management, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patient health status through regular assessments and utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation. Develop and implement personalized care plans based on physiology and anatomy knowledge, ensuring they meet residents' needs. Manage case management activities, including coordinating services with home health, hospice, assisted living, and other healthcare providers. Ensure staff adherence to medical terminology standards and proper documentation procedures. Oversee budgeting processes related to wellness programs and staffing resources. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as Medicare guidelines and state-specific requirements. Provide leadership in training staff on medical records management, documentation review, patient monitoring techniques, and shift management protocols. Foster a compassionate environment that prioritizes resident dignity and well-being.

Qualifications



Proven experience in Memory Care assisted living, home health, hospice care, or acute care environments. Demonstrated management and supervising experience within healthcare settings. Strong knowledge of EMR systems, medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and documentation standards. Expertise in physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care planning. Experience in nurse management or nurse leadership roles is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and patient monitoring activities. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual residents' needs. Knowledge of shift management practices and budgeting related to healthcare operations. Pay: $67,222.55 - $75,000.00 per year
