Our Welder\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbds workweek is Friday to Sunday with hours starting at 5:00 am until 5:30 pm. This job is a Skilled Industrial type position that pays $22.00-$28.00/Hour and is a \xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbdDirect Hire opportunity.

Welder Requirements and Qualifications \xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd

- Ability to read and comprehend prints and drawings per level of work.

- Advanced print reading with GD&T

- Formal weld training with certification or 4 years verifiable on the job training required.

- Experience with LEAN manufacturing is preferred.

- Understanding of material properties including flatness, surface grade, types, gauge etc.

- Advanced communication skills

- High School diploma or GED required

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required

Welder Duties and Responsibilities \xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd

- Ability to weld MIG in short circuit, globular, spray transfer and pulse spray transfer as modes of wire transfer

- Ability to weld with robotics is a plus

- Ability to utilize handheld plasma torch

- Ability to utilize Oxy Acetylene torch as needed

- Ability to read and understand prints with dimensions, welding symbols and GD&T

- Ability to utilize basic weld inspection equipment

- Ability to maintain welding process equipment with basic maintenance as needed and follow scheduled preventative maintenance schedules

- Ability to use finishing equipment such as grinders and orbital sanders for secondary operations

- Ability to follow written process steps to stay in control of the process

- Use of hand tools as needed

- Operator will be required to perform material handling functions to move work around the production floor and record movements in Epicor

- Operator shall work with the team to improve processes through continuous improvement

- Operator must maintain a neat and organized work area by following 5S guidelines

- Operator must always work safely and be aware of their surroundings

- Operator must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
