Job Overview

The PCX Welder II



All work adheres to engineering and quality specifications and is performed according to PCX safety standards.

Specific Position Requirements:

Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements Fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process with minimal supervision. Welder II inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Welder II may prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in an area of specialty. A Day In The Life

High School diploma (or equivalence) preferred. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Able to lift 50# consistently. Ability to work 10 hours or more per day and weekends as required. Must be 2G certified, obtain OSHA 10 certification, and be recommended by their supervisor for promotion requires 5-8 years of related experience.
