ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and control manpower and overall quality within department to ensure customer requirements are met. Develop and implement plans for safety, quality and productivity improvements. Investigate feasibility of new equipment and techniques. Prepare cost estimates for changes in manufacturing methods. Participate in development of new or improved products, including process flow. May prepare manufacturing instructions as new products are approved for production. Maintain production and product quality and quantity within established budget. Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs. To be able to control and manage the production plan. To be able to arrange production labor within each section. To be able to control work hours and conditions of the labor. Ensure safe operations. Have the ability to establish and execute a monthly plan. Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics. Administer performance reviews. Will attend Management Review/ISO meetings. Assist with the maintenance of the China Compulsory certification (CCC) system. All other duties as assigned. Requires the ability to use and apply extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes.





Qualifications: Good understanding of all aspects welding in a J.I.T. manufacturing operation. Good written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous automotive industry and supervision experience is preferred.
