Kennel Attendant - Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday)
Location: Fairfax, IA
We're looking for a reliable, animal-loving team member to join our kennel for Friday-Sunday shifts. This role is hands-on and active, caring for boarded dogs and helping keep our facility clean and welcoming.
Available Shifts:
Morning: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Evening: 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
What You'll Do
Feed, administer meds, exercise boarded animals
Administer medications and monitor health & behavior
Clean kennels, play areas, and laundry
Assist with daily kennel operations
Lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Work certain holidays as part of the team schedule
Play with dogs
What We're Looking For:
Previous animal care experience preferred (but not required)
Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
Good communication skills
Reliable and available for weekends/holidays
