Allegria Village, a large senior living community in Dearborn, is hiring a

Part-Time Housekeeper

to work

every Saturday and Sunday

in our

Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Rehabilitation

building.

This is not hotel housekeeping.

We are looking for someone with

at least 1 year of experience

in a

hospital or skilled nursing facility

, due to the nature of the cleaning tasks and infection control protocols.

What You'll Be Doing:

Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to healthcare-grade standards Safely handle and clean up bodily fluids and follow strict

OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen

procedures Operate industrial cleaning equipment (vacuums, buffers, polishers) Mop floors, sanitize high-touch surfaces, and handle trash removal Use chemical cleaning agents safely and according to health and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, State Health Department) Identify and report maintenance concerns like leaks, broken fixtures, or unsafe conditions

Who We're Looking For:

1+ year of housekeeping experience in a hospital, nursing home, or skilled care setting

(required) Comfortable working around bodily fluids and using chemical disinfectants Physically able to lift 50-75 lbs., walk, bend, and be on your feet for your entire shift Someone reliable and committed to cleanliness and resident safety

Schedule:

Part-time, Weekends Only (Saturday & Sunday)

Consistent hours, perfect for supplemental income or steady weekend work
