This role is all about keeping the front-end running smoothly during our busiest shopping days, supporting the team when they are under the most pressure, and ensuring every customer leaves happy. Position Summary



The Weekend Front-End Supervisor leads the cashiers and front-of-house team during weekend shifts, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and strong teamwork. This person will coordinate closely with our weekday AM and PM supervisors to ensure consistency and communication across shifts. This position will be covered in four 10-hour shifts covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with either Thursday or Monday as the fourth day.

Duties



Lead and support a team of 5-15 cashiers and front-end associates during weekend shifts. Oversee front-end operations including checkout flow, cash handling, and customer service. Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy. Train, motivate, coach, and direct employees to maintain efficiency and teamwork. Ensure daily task lists, opening/closing duties, and cleanliness standards are met. Step in at the register or on the floor to help as needed. Promote and enforce loss prevention best practices -- stay alert, and protect company assets. Collaborate with weekday AM and PM supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and communication. Assist AM and PM supervisors with team scheduling. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for a diverse team. Model integrity, accountability, and reliability at all times.

Requirements



2+ years of experience in retail, customer service, or team leadership (supervisory experience preferred). Proven ability to lead a team of 5-15 people in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience with cash handling and loss prevention procedures. Ability to adapt quickly, make sound decisions, and stay calm under pressure. Balanced leadership style -- approachable and friendly, yet firm and fair. Comfortable working with diverse personalities and finding common ground. Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy weekend shifts. A positive attitude combined with problem-solving abilities to handle customer concerns effectively. Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some holidays.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
