CUSTODIAN Location: 1410 W 1250 S Orem, UT 84058 Status: Part - Time / Non - Exempt Hours: Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Pay / Salary: $15.00 / Hour BENEFITS: Full benefits are only available to full-time employees; however, because we encourage educational development for our staff and faculty, as a part-time employee averaging 15 hours a week over three months of employment with us, you could be eligible for our MTECH tuition waiver. RESPONSIBILITIES With a better idea of what you\'d get from employment with us, you probably want to know what you\'d be doing, and what we expect. Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts and vacuums hallways, stairs, classrooms, restrooms and office spaces
• Cleans and sanitizes bathroom fixtures, mirrors, light switches, door jambs and drinking fountains
• Cleans whiteboards and windows
• Empties trash and garbage containers
• Maintains all areas of the building, this includes offices, classrooms, labs, conference rooms, dining room, serving areas, halls, stairs, elevators, entryways and lobbies. Assignment may vary depending on campus. Performs minor and routine maintenance activities in these locations.
• Maintains all types of floor, fabric and upholstery surfaces
• Read, understand, and follow safety procedures
• Implements the safe and proper handling of blood and body fluid cleanup
• Implements the safe use and disposal of all chemicals and products, including those that are hazardous; maintains SDS records for all supplies
• Responsible for securing doors and windows in all areas and buildings
• Alerts Custodial Lead to necessary routine repairs and major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment;

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of six months related experience.
