About Us:

We're a locally owned hardware store dedicated to providing friendly, knowledgeable service to our community. We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Cashier to join our team and help create a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming store atmosphere. Accurately handle cash, credit, and charge account transactions. Promote and assist with customer rewards/retention programs. Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate associates. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Represent the store as the "face of the business" through friendly, professional interactions.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions. Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must. Basic computer and POS system experience preferred. Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus.
