Position Summary

As a Weekend Agreement Nurse, you'll help ensure the physical and mental health of our clients through compassionate care, skilled medical attention, and strong teamwork. You'll assess, monitor, and respond to health concerns while maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities

Complete comprehensive nursing health assessments and document accurately Take medication orders, dispense medications, and maintain precise medical records Monitor infection control and ensure timely response to medical needs Communicate effectively with physicians, guardians, and treatment teams Provide first aid and emergency response as needed Partner with the staff nutritionist to meet patient dietary needs Assist in staff training and lead hygiene or educational groups

Qualifications

Education:

One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school

Experience:

Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Licensure:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Kansas

Other Requirements:

+ Valid driver's license and auto insurance
+ Must be at least 20 years old
