Job Description

The Roca web developer will create & customize an e-commerce experience for Roca products. This involves a mix of design, development, and optimization tasks to ensure a functional and visually appealing online store.



Key responsibilities

Development and customization: Build and customize Shopify themes, plugins,

and apps to meet specific business needs.

Integration: Implement and integrate third-party apps and services, such as

payment gateways and marketing tools.

Optimization: Improve website performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness,

and optimize for conversions.

Collaboration: Work with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to

translate business requirements and designs into functional features.

Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure the store

operates smoothly.

Required skills and qualifications

Programming languages: Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify's templating language), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Shopify platform: A strong understanding of the Shopify platform, including

theme development and app integration.

Front-end and back-end development: A solid grasp of both front-end and

back-end development is often required.

APIs: Experience with APIs is necessary for integrations.

Problem-solving:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Soft skills: Excellent communication skills are vital for collaborating with teams

and clients.
