About the Job

As a remote Web Developer on our global digital marketing team, you will collaborate with internal and external developers to build bold web experiences for our customers. You will work closely with our demand-generation, product, and functional marketing teams to enable marketing communications, empower channel partners, and provide extraordinary customer experiences.

We are looking for a developer who can help us accelerate the building of our next generation website publishing platform, create custom modules and features, build integrations, and assist with publishing custom content for digital campaigns.

You are the right person for this role if you have a passion for collaboration, experimentation, a healthy interest in design and user experience, and a passionate drive to create customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Implement webpage layouts, build online applications, and create interactive website content.
• Test sites and applications for efficiency and usability, considering cross-browser compatibility and responsive design while addressing any bugs or errors identified. QA code and functionality created by other developers and take part in code deployment
• Transform text and graphics provided by colleagues into compelling web pages according to standard processes, using Drupal CMS.
• Design and implement technical solutions to improve website customer experience, increase engagement and conversion rates, and achieve SEO benchmarks for website performance.

Qualifications

• BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of work experience as a Web Developer
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues with varied backgrounds and degrees of technical expertise.
• Ability to learn, share, and collaborate with other developers as well as the ability to work autonomously to deliver on commitments and goals
• A willingness to explore unfamiliar technology and implementations. Must be willing and able to say, \xe2\x80\x9cI don\xe2\x80\x99t know\xe2\x80\x9d but also \xe2\x80\x9cI\xe2\x80\x99ll try to figure it out\xe2\x80\x9d.
• Associates Degree or vocational training and one year of related web development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Professional experience in modern CMS web development using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX, preferably Drupal
• Experience with object-oriented programming in PHP
• Experience coding Twig templates
• Experience running code and projects with Git, preferably in collaboration with other developers
• Experience with leading codebases with composer

Preferred Qualifications

Strong candidates will have experience with some combination of the following:

• Site building in Drupal with a focus on creating an interface suitable for less-technical content editors.
• Drupal methodologies like complex web forms, views, roles and permissions
• Integrating third-party libraries and APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP, etc.)
• Contribution to the Drupal community or custom Drupal modules
• Node.js
• CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation) and JavaScript libraries (React, Vue.js)
• Jamstack or other static / headless / decoupled architectures
• The basics (CRUD) of SQL databases (mySQL, postgreSQL)
• Deploying to microservices based environments (docker, kubernetes, AWS Lambda, CI/CD pipelines)
• Cloud-based services (AWS, Azure)

National: The salary range for this position is $44,500- $82,600

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
