Job Description

JOB DUTIES:

The Weapons Fuzing Analyst will develop prototype designs for ordnance fuzing subsystems, including the development of production level mechanical drawing packages.
POSITION LOCATION:

This position is onsite at Indian Head, MD
EXPERIENCE:

Eight (8)+ years of professional experience generating solid models and manufacturing drawing of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems Experience using PTC CREO and/or Solid Works CAD/CAM software application Experience in creating systems engineering/technical documents on new/improved ordnance fuzing mechanical designs Experience with the development of production level drawing packages Experience with using configuration management/configuration control processes Experience with the development of functional block diagrams Experience with the development of assembly level concepts Experience with the development of component level concept Familiarity with MIL-STD-1316 a plus
EDUCATION:

Required:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Preferred:

Master's degree in engineering
CERTIFICATION(S):

No formal certifications required
CLEARANCE LEVEL:

Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI or program?specific access may be required based on contract needs.

Must be U.S. Citizen
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
