Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:

  • Investments and Portfolio Management:
  • Implement changes, adjustments, rebalancing, recommendations, transitions, etc. of client investment portfolios.
  • Document client investment plans and monitor adherence to those plans.
  • Execute trades or coordinate with the CAPTRUST national trading team on the execution of trades.
  • Interface with local and national CAPTRUST investment leaders.
  • Support local investment leaders on all manner of projects, team reporting needs and ad hoc client requests.
  • Financial Planning:
  • Collect information for financial planning projects and enter information into WealthView/eMoney financial planning software.
  • Run basic financial plans, including net worth statements, cash flow and retirement projections, Monte Carlo analyses, tax planning, etc. in support of senior client advisors.
  • Assist senior advisors with more complex wealth planning projects (e.g. tax projections, estate planning, insurance analysis, etc.).
  • Review financial and investment plans with advisors, planner and portfolio manager in preparation for meetings with clients. Assist with coordination of related follow-up tasks.
  • Accurately enter and update client information, meeting notes, and interactions into the CRM platform.
  • Update CRM and support special projects.
  • Interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Master the efficient use of CAPTRUST's internal and external wealth management and client service-related software programs.
  • Proactively improve technical and client-service skills to better support clients and boost team efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 0 - 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Four-year college degree in finance, accounting, or similar technical degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or interest in pursuing the CFP track
  • Series 65 exam must be completed within 6 months of starting employment
Desired Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products
  • Prioritization skills and multi-tasking skills. Ability to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive service approach
