Job Summary


As a Wax Assembly Worker in our Wax Department, you will be responsible for assembling complex wax patterns and gating systems used in the investment casting process. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical instructions to ensure high-quality mold production. Hiring for Morning and Afternoon shift (afternoon shift paid additional shift differential).

Key Responsibilities



Assemble complex wax patterns and gating components using wet welding (torch), hot pencils, and hand tools. Read and follow detailed TECH card instructions for unique and varied assembly steps. Inspect pattern and gating components before and after assembly. Use full-time assembly fixtures to maintain dimensional control and stability. Modify gates by reshaping, splicing, or reducing to ensure proper fit. Smooth and gauge assembly contact areas using hot pencil, torch, or paint seal. Fabricate basic gating from raw stock. Develop code sheets for engineering-requested modifications. Ensure quality by inspecting assemblies throughout the process.

Qualifications



US citizen. Ability to read and write in English and follow verbal instructions. Basic math skills. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements. Commitment to safety and compliance with environmental and health regulations.

Work Environment



Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and smoke (within OSHA limits). Health & safety training and protective equipment provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
