Job Summary

The Water/Wastewater Department provides expertise and services in community water and wastewater facilities. Project types include but are not limited to water main improvements, wells, water towers, water/wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater lift stations, and sewer mains.

Responsibilities and Duties

The CAD Design Technician will:

  • Work with engineers and designers to draft municipal water related infrastructure projects.
  • Use primarily AutoCAD Civil 3D to:
  • Set up project plan sheets
  • Draw alignments
  • Create pipeline profiles
  • Create Surfaces
  • Draw site and grading plans
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Drafting or engineering degree
  • 2+ years experience working in the engineering industry on municipal water related or linear pipeline projects
  • Ability to interpret survey data, create/modify surfaces
  • Abilty to create and edit pipeline networks, plan production, and sheet set manager
  • Revit Experience
