Position Overview

The Waterpark Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Big Splash Indoor Waterpark, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient environment for both guests and staff. This includes managing personnel, maintaining facilities, coordinating activities, and upholding the resort's high standards of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise waterpark staff, including lifeguards and admissions personnel. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations, including pool maintenance standards and emergency procedures. Guest Experience: Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and implement improvements to enhance the waterpark experience. Facility Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the waterpark facilities are clean, functional, and well-maintained. Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and budgeting. Event Coordination: Plan and execute special events, such as birthday parties and group activities, to drive engagement and revenue.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within a waterpark or similar recreational facility. Certifications: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent certification required. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
